Equites is the Sword Guardian. In most of it's appearances it takes on the form of a strange white beast with a blade attached to it's head but in Wild Arms 5 she takes on the form of a self-confident Goddess. The name Equites comes from the word equites, which could refer to a calvary in military terms, or in historical terms a social order below the Senators like Knights.
